Deep Run Hunt Pony Club was founded in 1954 and enjoys the distinction of being the second oldest club in the United States.
Deep Run Hunt Pony Club is a registered club of the United States Pony Clubs, Inc., the leading junior equestrian organization in the world. The United States Pony Club, Inc. (USPC) was organized as a nonprofit national youth horsemanship organization in February 1954. The USPC founders were enthusiastic foxhunters who recognized the need for an organization to provide sound instruction for all interested youngsters, especially those who otherwise could not afford expensive lessons.
